Rose Robin F- 2002 16.1 hand Oldenburg mare by Rubin Royal.

Rosie is a beautiful chestnut Oldenburg mare by Rubin-Royal who was Champion of the Oldenburg licensing, and the winner of the Klein or Little final at the Bundeschampionate in 2001. Rubin-Royal throws a consistent type, which is real testament to the strength of the Seifert mare line, since Rohdiamant is a classic example of that wild mix of blood at work. By Rubinstein, he is out of a mare who combines the Anglo Arab genes of the French stallion, Inschallah. The offspring of Rubin-Royal look like their dad, and seem to be taking after him in ability. He already has 15 licensed sons. His first crop produced Rubin Cortes, first reserve champion of the 2003 Oldenburg licensing.

In the 2014 Hanoverian Stallion Book, Rubin-Royal is credited with 481 progeny out competing, for winnings of €332,001 with 38 dressage placegetters at S level. He himself won 17 times at S level for winnings of €30,440. Interestingly at his performance test, Rubin-Royal jumped well, finishing in 3rd place in the dressage standings, and in 7th in the jumping for an overall 4th place. In the 2016 book, Rubin-Royal has 517 progeny competing with winnings of €488,309, five with more than €10,000, the most successful, Ruling Pedro (€32,707). Rubin-Royal has four horses on the first entries list for the Rio Olympic Games: Rubin Al Asad (Wanderbursch II), Rosalie B (Newcastle), Rubins Nite (Limbo) and Rigoletto Royal CH (Donnerschlag).

Robin Rose’s dam is a beautiful black Oldenburg mare by Rohdiamant who is by Rubenstien I so Robin Rose has the famous Rohdiamant/ Rubenstein blood on both sides of her pedigree. Rohdiamant is arguably the most outstanding Rubinstein son.

After winning the approvals in 1992, Rohdiamant won the Oldenburg Riding Horse championships in Rastede in 1993 and became a Federal champion at Mannheim and runner-up in the stallion performance test. He was champion dressage horse of his generation in Oldenburg and main premium stallion in 1994.Rohdiamant three times received the score of 10.00 from extraneous riders, becoming the sensational unequivocal winner in the dressage index with a score of 150.01 points. Rohdiamant was Federal champion 5-year old dressage horse, wins in Grand Prix competitions on the international stage, and was selected for the American Olympic team under Lisa Wilcox.

Rosie is a wonderful dressage mare who was trained through Prix St George and  competed through 4th level before sustaining an injury and retiring as a broodmare.   Rosie is in foal for 2018 to Oldenburg stallion Don De Marco who also carries the legendary dressage lines of Donnerwetter/First Class.  See more of Don De Marco on his webpage.
